My Father’s Special Wallet!
My father, a minded farmer, just began to use a wallet from last year. It was not bought by himself, but a present from my younger brother.
Before that, my father always put his money into an old cigarette case and inserted it into the pocket of his dirty coat. My mother said using a wallet would be a waste and the case was good enough considering that he always paid little attention to his dress.He would even use anything around him including his clothes whenever it is needed in his work.
In fact, it was safe to use such a special purse. One day, my father lost his cigarette case on the road, and the second day, he found it lying there quietly, even with footprints on it. Definitely, no one found the money hiding in it.
But sometimes, it was really a trouble because such a case was too easy to be broken and overlooked. My mother always threw such cases into our rubbish basket. Fortunately, my father found them in time.
As for this wallet, my father likes it very much, because it is the first present from his son, and he bought it with his first paycheck. But the wallet lied in the drawer for a few months at the beginning, consisting in it is “uncomfortable” for my father. Certainly, the wallet made of leather is larger and less flexible than the cigarette case, and the latter can be shaped however you like. It will never make people heart broken to rot such a purse. Moreover, it is a way of making good use of our resources.
In the eyes of many, using a cigarette case is very humiliating. It can not be understood in the modern time. The wallet, like the tie and the belt, represents the taste of a man. All the fashion will chose it seriously. But my father, who is just fierce for work, does not care about it.
